Micro-Freezes/Stuttering on High-End PC?
I recently finished building my gaming PC, and for some reason Terraria (of all games..) has freezing and stutter issues every other minute or so. Here is my build:

GTX 1060 6GB, i7-7700, 16GB DDR4 Ram, 250gb SSD, 1tb HDD

Why is Terraria stuttering? When I have vsync off, the framerate is rough. When I have vsync on, it's 60fps but again has micro-freezes/stutters here and there. Shouldn't be an issue with the PC I have. Is it a setting in the nvidia control panel causing it maybe? If you need me to, I can post an image of all my settings for nvidia. (This also happened with gta v but changing certain nvidia settings fixed that I think, so maybe I'm missing a setting for Terraria?)

I have a beefy af PC too and the game can still lagg if not configured correctly. Its the game not your pc.

Try to Disable Frameskip. This setting scrwes with your game so much.

If it's 2x8 make sure the cards are in the same color slots.
