Giant worm drop farming tips?
Trying to get a whoopie cushion for a green horseshoe balloon via water candle and battle potion is progressing slowly. Worms still only spawn every few minutes in underground depths 60-360 below forest, center of map on large map size. Anybody know a good procedure/structure to get this one? Better biome or depth perhaps?

A way bigger worm who doesn't drop what I want. Thanks for getting me excited thinking it was in his treasure bag though, I love being disappointed

Ignore it all together. Just use rocket boots/spectre/lightning boots. Way better.

Already using frostspark boots, thanks for the tip though. I want to use this too, the fart jump is second only to the sandstorm jump in power and is distinctly better than cloud in a bottle. The only decent pre hardmode accessories seem to be for movement, minus obsidian shield and sharktooth necklace. Don't want to beat wall of flesh in this world until I've set up a corruption barrier, so I'm farming good items while I make it

Side note, what accessories would you use on ranger pre hardmode?

That's probably your best bet, unless you want to spend time to make a 168x94 tile spawn farm. Can used later to farm souls ater though.

I don't remember the exact numbers off the top of my head, but enemies only spawn in a certain range of tiles away from you vertically and horizontally. They also won't spawn on lava. Knowing this you can hollow out a box around a place you stand to spawn enemies, and use lava to stop them from spawning wherever you don't want them. Most effecient method depends on what exactly your farming, but generally having the spawn surface being beneath you is easiest. Imps are fairly effective for AFK farming pre-hardmode.

Such a farm is very useful for getting powerful items early on in Hardmode, or just getting certain low drop-rate items period. A single farm can fairly easily be re-purposed into different biomes too.
