Wall of Flesh Expert Mode Arena: How to go insane!
Wall of flesh in Normal mode is stock standard and very simple to fight, make a small bridge, pow pow, dead. But what about expert mode? I mean, it can't be that bad right? Right? Heh heh WRONG! The most effective way I have found to fight is to use gravitation potions to fight on the ceiling, far from any leeches that will heavily damage you, and quickly swarm. Which means one thing, building a bridge...upside down(and much, much longer due to the increased health and speed of the WoF)!

The bridge I have had to make is over 2000 blocks long(yeah, fun) and I made a bridge below so that I could build the ceiling bridge(so I basically had to make 2, also fun.). And with the amount of enemies and ash I had to dig, building the bridge took 3 hours of non stop building(definitely not a pain.) So now for the discussion part of all of this, what was your strategy at fighting the Wall of Flesh in Expert? Mine was not great, but I did it due to wanting to fight on the ceiling away from leeches, which sadly ended up making me spend 3-4 non stop hours of building a bridge...on the ceiling...yeah, smart, I know.:steamfacepalm:

I used dungeon bricks for the bridge then i just used dynamite to kill him

Actually, that would be alot nicer than my method, mine was way, way, way too demanding. Needless to say, I am not doing the upside down bridge again, it was way too difficult to accomplish, I may just try the dynamite method next time. :P

I generally make a minecart track along all of hell, make the iron minecart, and then use a ranged weapon + incrementing my speed up to stay ahead and damage him.

boi isk what youre talkin about, a few beenades and he dead. no need for an arena more than 300 blocks long.

Yeah, most of the reason I made the arena the way I did is that I thought Mini-Shark plus meteor shot+upside down and completely annoying to make bridge = good idea, I learned different pretty fast. So yeah, do not under any curcumstances do the thing that I did, just fight queen bee, get beenades, and do it that way, less effort, less time, and alot more efficient...

The way I found easiest was using about 100 Molotovs while having a second person shoot them with a Minishark or something. (Singleplayer it may be a bit more difficult, I recommend ~150ish Molotovs and Herme's Boots)

I just used my wings and flew backwards and shot my vampire knives and terra blade. i was shocked by how much harder he was on expert as it was the first time i played since 1.2 was pretty new. Also was shocked by how much he speeds up :(
i got him but i had some close calls. now i dont underestimate expert mode haha

Ash bridge + water bolt. Easy peasy.

I was about to say...

Edit: I mean, sure Expert Mode is harder but you'd have to want to die for the WoF to kill you with those items.

To be fair, Vamp knives are nerf'd hard on Expert.
