Are some furniture decreasing spawn rate?

Hello!
I've built a mob farm, where I have placed heart lantern, star in the bottle, campfire, piggy bank, workbench, sharpening station and some banners.

After that I noticed that mobs have started spawning more rarely (before I placed all things there usually were 7-10 mobs / 5 minutes). Is it just a random thing and it will go on as it was before after some time? Or furniture items really affect spawnrates?

I knew sunflowers do so, but do other stuff?

No, it's the presence of NPC's...
The more NPC's you have in an area, the lower the spawnrates are

Well I don't have any NPC's in at least 1k blocks.

Otherwise, no, only NPC's and those 2 lower spawns and calming potions

Biome also has an effect on spawnrate. So if you haven't already, add enough jungle blocks to change the biome, as the jungle has the highest spawnrate. I believe the number you'd need would be 80 tiles.

Not sure if it applies here (depends on the farm), but I know in some cases certain mobs won't spawn if you're standing in front of walls you placed.
