Old One's army Glitch HELP

me and my friend just deafted the EOW (eater of worlds) and we found the tavernkeep,so we try out the crystal and when we do it it just says wave 0 and the count down is stuck at 5/4

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

is it stuck after you beat the wave or before?
try shutting down the server and re-launching it.

i host on steam so i just close my game and relaunch it and my friend does the same but it still doesn't work

Try destroying the crystal holder by throwing bombs at it.

does it have to be with bombs or just a pick brecause when we do it the debuff idsn't there so we can break it normaly

No, he's saying he didn't read the topic and wants to help (a.k.a. do it all himself) you beat the OOA, when it works.

I've had this bug when I was co-oping with a friend. I recall that it was very sporadic. Both characters might have needed to be near the crystal for it to work, or we just tried it repeatedly...

.... Actually wait that was a different bug, whereby the portals spawned on top of each other (only one side) and spammed endless Goblins whilst stuck on Wave 0.
