Plantera's Bulb

So i have killed the 3 mech bosses i'd say about 5 terraria days ago, and i have set up an arena, and i've been waiting for the bulb to spawn for a good while, but it hasn't spawned yet. Is there something i need to do beforehand> have i just been unlucky? any tips would be appreciated

The best idea is to look around for the bulbs. Most people build their arena around the first bulb they find. Only 3 can spawn per world, so keep rooting through your whole jungle.

ok thanks. also do yo know how big i should make the arena? i feel like my arena might be a bit too big, and i'm worried that she will get enraged

Plantera bulbs take time to grow about one ingame day/night to spawn, have you explored the entire underground jungle? one might be hidden somewhere down there,

I dont think so... but i have uncovered a lot. i haven't looked near the top. should i do so? Also, how do you know when you have uncovered it completely? But then again i feel like at least ONE should spawn in the area i have uncovered

Also is can you find the bulbs by looking at our map? or do you have to go down to the jungle for the map to refresh?

Thats not how plantera gets enraged.

Make it as big as you want but make sure a nurse is there. You basically get godmode with a nurse.

The bigger the world, the slower the bulbs appear.

Ok thanks. i have a medium world, so could i just stay at my base and just every now and then scan the map to hope one pops up?

Plantera bulbs do appear on the map when they spawn as long as the area it spawns in has been explored,
You chould build a plantera bulb farm, by making a long 1 block wide line of jungle grass {in the underground jungle] when the "large plants" start to grow on it, break them with a pickaxe so the bulb has a place to grow, the smaller, ones that can be broken/destroyed with a swing of a weapon or shot with a projectile dont need to be removed as the bulb will grow on it,
Also, have you defeated all 3 mechanical bosses? {The Twins, The Destroyer, Skeletron Pime} when you defeat all 3 on the same world, you`ll get the status message "The Jungle Grows Restless" meaning plantera bulbs will begin to spawn on jungle grass,
Requirements for a bulb to spawn are listed here
All 3 mech bosses have been defeated in that world
it must be hardmode
Jungle Grass must be present for a place to grow
If you have all 3 requirements checked, bulbs can and will spawn,
Bulbs spawn roughly 150-300 tiles/blocks from each other as stated in the wiki
They do appear on the map as 2x2 bright pink squares, if you hover your mouse over the square it will say "Plantera`s Bulb"
Is the entire and i mean entire underground jungle explored? from surface to underworld?
I whould like to ask you to send a link to the thread of a screenshot of your world, i might be able to figure out whats going on?
If not you can use mods like Cheetsheet or Hero`s mod to spawn plantera in
As a sidenote it might be a glitch or bug or something now that i cant fix,
Edit: The jungle maybe is cluttered with the "large plants" and thorny bushes, try to break them so the bulbs have a place to spawn
