Artificial Jungle Farm for Things Other than Arapaima?

What is the spawning condition for the other water mobs in the Jungle? Because literally only Arapaima spawns in the pools of water when you have the 80 Jungle/ Lizhard blocks for the artificial jungle biome.

I'm trying to farm piranha without the statue, but getting blocked by the fact only Arapaima spawns.

Considering when I google search of the phrase "Terraria Piranha farming," one of the front page results I get is "Piranha Farming is Miserable," I'm going to have to wish you good luck.

They still spawn in hardmode.
What do you need piranha for though? The compass?

Yeah, it's probably pretty easy for me to make a new world and just find a piranha statue or hunt piranhas, but was just wondering the precondition for piranha's and angler fish spawning since there doesn't seem to be any specific condition for them to be spawned in pools of water.

Edit: Also they don't seem to spawn in pre hardmode using the artificial biome trick either, there's something else to it.
