Well, the easy way to check if it's the 24 mods is to remove them and see if it stops. Remember, not all mods are compatible with each other! So, it may be a combination of mods causing the problem.
Another problem may be a lack of memory space! Each mod adds more strain on your computer, and even if it runs Vanilla fine it may not be able to run several large mods at once! Do the crashes seem to happen more often when there are a lot of enemies / projectiles on screen, or when you rapidly travel between biomes?
And finally - to create backups of your modded saves, you have to find them! On PC, these are under
Documents -> My Games -> Terraria -> tModloader
Your saves are under "Worlds" and "Players" (for worlds and characters, respectively).
Your vanilla saves are nearby, just under
Documents -> My Games -> Terraria
Then "Worlds" and "Players" (for worlds and characters, respectively).
To make backups of these saves, all you need to do is copy them into another folder. For instance, a big folder on your desktop called "TERRARIA BACKUPS". Then, just copy them back if something goes wrong.
Hope this helps!

Second, I don't know what causes it to crash it just crashes out of nowhere and rollbacks the world.
Third, Thank you for the instructions and to clarify u can just copy the file of the player/world and it'll save ?
When you copy the player/world files, it makes a copy of your player/world.
If you keep these in a separate folder, it's like keeping a clone frozen in ice! They don't change and they can't get broken - when you put them back in the Terraria folder, they will be *exactly* the same as when you copied them out.
Does that make sense?
