Calamity Lore Items

So I recently started playing this mod because I had nothing really left to do. So I installed this mod startet a new Character and so on. And I got these Lore Items. On the calamity wiki it's said that "In addition, most of the lore items dropped by bosses provide the player with a buff while in their inventory" And I really don't have the feeling that this is the case. Do they really have a effect or do I need to have something (like an acessory) in order for it to work?

do you hate it equipped where you equip the wings or all the other things or do you have it in only in the inventory? I know the mod unfortunately not so good maybe I find something else on the internet then I'll get back to you god luck

I think I have found out what the problem was.. There was a biome missing in my world (the sunken sea) and I did a bit of a research.. and I did not had the newest version installed. Now I have the newest version installed and need to create a new world. Well I already did with the same seed. Now I need to build everything again and defeat every boss again. That will be fun.

But the biome has spawned and the lore items now have their effects.
Thats good.

I am playing the game on my own. I already did that with vanilla and I don't think it will be different with this mod.

I thought so. I have to disappoint you then because I only play with people I know. And with that I mean people I have already met or know for years know. And no one on my list really plays this game. What do you think why I beat Moon Lord in Vanilla on Expert Mode on my own? As I mentioned earlier I played Vanilla on my own and I don't think it will be different with this mod.
