I need help of someone. Its about calamity mod. I've been stuck for 7 hours

Its about the attempt 100 now, im trying to kill the devourer of gods, but i always seem to fail, its either the first part, or the last part the one that gets me, in the last part i cant manage to get damage, its just too hard for it to die, and in the first part i simply die for stupidity.

Can anyone give me any tips on how to improve this fight/make it easier?

Im Playing Ranger with the Bloodflare armor, full menacing accesories, daedalus emblem, sniper scope, ranger emblem, asgard valor, celestial shell, seraph tracers, and for the boss i switch the counter scarf for the astral bulwark (due to the immunity to the god inferno debuff)

For the weapon im mainly using the Blissful bombardier, but sometimes i switch to seadragon

What im doing wrong? what can i try? is there anything to improve? anything to change? I seriously need help.

Use the full map when fighting. Sniper scope wont help you during his fight.
Dont use a counter scarf.
Make sure you have potions (Iron skin, Holy Wrath, Titan, Yharim Stimulants, archery)
Community is a good item to use for the extra damage.
Get an Astral Arcanum.
Dont use the celestial shell, Instead get the drunk princess and get moonshine and tequeila sunshine.(Make sure you fight DOG durring the day) These give a massive boost to stats and are almost needed for the fight.
Daemon's Flame is a good bow to use.

You should have
Bloodflare armor
Daedalus emblem
Ranger Emblem
Asguard's valor
Seraph Tracers
Astral Arcanium(Possibly Void of Extintction)
If you are below 100 armor Use the bloodflare core
Otherwise an Absorber should work fine.


Tips:
Make sure you are not flying too high. The DOG's second phase will catch you no matter how high you fly. (Try to dash a lot more to juke out the DOG. Don't use mounts they feel like you have more control but the dash is a lot more safer)
Focus his tail rather than his head. It is a lot easier to avoid damage this way.
During his Second Phase you must be a lot more careful with the dash.

During the laser wall, slow down and use the seraph tracers and the dash to SLOWLY weave your way through the lasers with out taking damage. Lastly when he gets down to the last portion of the fight where he quotes "A god does not fear death" Don't get cocky, Keep with the dodges and stay closer to his tail instead of his head. His head will instant kill in death mode,(or deal a crap ton) He will also shoot fire out of his mouth. It is simple to avoid as long as you keep dashing.

Arena: 2 straight VERY LONG platforms with campfire and honey. This is to counter the damage you take from the laser walls.
Strat: Use dashing to your advantage to weave around his attacks. If you are to ever have to move you fly up and grapple. Make sure not to fly too high because he will catch up and the gravity from space will make your dash useless.




Note: If for some reason you have thorium get the spirit band. It is OP on the final 4 bosses in calamity.
Spirit band (While equipped, every 10 seconds, should the player get hit by an attack that exceeds 150 damage, it will be reduced to 150 damage.)

I used all of the potions you said except for Yharim stimulants, and also used Calamitas Brew, I guess ill try using your strat when i get home, yet if anyone read this id like (if they have the time) to know how they killed this naughty one
