I really hope they make the Terrablade better in 1.4

Right now it's really underwhelming and an extreme disappointment.

Does anyone else feel this sentiment?

No, actually it swings slower then many other swords, like the Meowmere. It's projectile is on a set timer and you cannot make that timer any faster.

Not only is it slower than Meowmere but it has significantly less melee damage. Terra Blade is 95 and Meowmere is 200. And that's without items that boost melee damage, which will increase the difference in damage, further making Meowmere stronger. It's just sad to see.

If you had enough skill you could do literally anything without armor, a copper shortsword, and a lack of sanity.

keep in mind that meowmere is a post-ml weapon, meanwhile the terrablade is pre plantera.

no, armorless ML copper shortsword is not possible because it lacks damage output.

Do you realise that at this point you are comparing bloody meowere which is an end game sword againts a showd you get before even plantera? Of course its gonna suck, even influx waver sucks againts it, also is it really hard to kill 2 mothrons? I had 5 spawn and had each give me a broken hero sword, eitehr that or having it be 7 times in a row made me insane.

That doesn;t make the Terrablade any better, it just makes the Meowmere worse. If we make the Meowmere worse, that won't help the terrablade's already awful performance

im not comparing meowmere with the terra blade, what im saying is that u can easily get a better sword (influx waver) after u kill 1 boss, and getting 6 swords and killing a mini boss 2 times doesnt seem like something id want to do if i could beat an invasion and get a better weapon

I was answering to the other guy that said you could just get meowere, but nevermind. The invasion is after 2 bosses, which you may have to repeat to get the sword, whereas the solar eclipse you just have to pray those 5 moths drop it which, the should and get the 2 other swords, which alltogether you have more chances of getting that [unless you are me and are sitting a 7 influx swords from those invasions] than the influx, to be fair you may also not be as lucky as me with those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ solar eclipses, or may not be lucky from moth and it being a piece of ♥♥♥♥, but then again luck is also somewhat large part of terraria for things like that.
