If a npc dies will it respawn?
If a npc dies from say a zombie would it respawn?

Yes, every NPC respawns after death. It takes some time, from few hours to 1 day of in-game time. Also you will need a free room in your house/town for NPC to respawn.

Depends the housing, if there is only one house and the Guide dies and the Merchant moves in, the guide will not spawn until you get more housing, but yes Npcs do respawn if killed

yes they do, but only during the day and if there is vacant housing to move into.

yes, BUT!!! For certain NPCs like e.g. bomberman you need to fulfill requirements for his spawn, i.e. have a bomb in the inventory. Double check details on official wiki
