Which bullets work best against Plantera?

I've been using ichor bullets against the mechanical bosses, and they worked pretty well, but they didn't seem to do much on my previous run in with Plantera. Should I try cursed bullets instead?

I'm using a Clockwork Assault Rifle if that matters.

Since this is definetly normal not expert:

Megashark requires some souls of might (from the destroyer), a minishark, some illegial gun parts (sold by the arms dealer at night) and 5 shark fins from sharks

Worth the crafting. deals the most dps for a pre plantera ranged weapon

Well it's been 2 hours so I'm not sure if you've done it already, but just in case, use chlorophyte bullets. These do decent damage and track the enemy, so they don't miss unless theres something directly between you and the enemy. Another option is crystal bullets. These bullets burst into crystal shards on impact, doing additional damage. Both are effective, and it's really just an opinion to which is better.

I did, the Megashark helped a lot and made Golem a cakewalk too. Thanks for the help.

Me here using only normal bullets since to lazy to dig, ahhh
