Silt

I have created alot of pre hardmode items with the extractionator using silt. So I'm obsessed with collecting this item to get access to ores such as iron to make tracks since it didn't generate in this world. But I get tons of stuff from it. I feel it is one of the most valuable items early game to create stuff with. Any other things you think might be more valuable?

Fishing. It might not give you as many ores or gems, or make you as rich, but you get stuff from it that aids tremendously in progression. If you are lucky and you have the cash, buy the Sitting Duck pole from the Travelling Merchant NPC. And look around in the rain for worms or during a clear night for fireflies.

Yeah I have tons of worms and already bought the pole. Just havnt really fished alot so far. Still digging around and finding tracks which have me the idea to fast travel in upper world and sky

You mentioned in the other thread that you were also digging up fossil blocks. Those will work in the extractinator as well so if you can survive the mobs down there I would suggest drawing your attention toward that.

I did fish and collect few crates that I got Reaver Shark. Changed my game tremendously that one item

Yeah I got a few fossils really havnt ran around the sand biome alot yet. Playing in the jungle.

You first have to find an Extractinator which is somewhat randomly placed in the desert and ice biomes underground (mostly in chests but sometimes in houses). Finding one even on a small world can take a pretty fair amount of time.

You can make generators that allow you get insane amounts of items really fast. You need a statue that spawns enemies, some wiring, a button, and something that can trigger the button over and over really fast (birds, rabbits, and crabs are the best to use for this). The most valuable is often considered the Jellyfish generator, since they drop necklaces that sell for a lot. I've found you can get a lot of cash out of selling granite from granite golems. You can also make a slime generator to farm for the slime staff. Shark generators are also popular. Of course, what you can make will depend on what statues you can find. You can craft a few of them (such as bird statues), but most you'll have to find underground somewhere, and it can take a fair amount of time to find the good statues for this.
