cant find ore

to my left is desert right side is snowy

i dug under forest area up to underground water thingy the rarest ore i found was silver (and only ~20 pieces). i used all my leads to make anvil and not a single iron ore. where do you find ores really

Should be able to find a lot under the spawn point and in chests

alright so i might not dig deep enough, now i dig straight down while evading waters.

up to this worm monster which moves and travels in the background, got killed its not posible for me to go further ill start going sides

i want to upgrade my equipment. shurikens, glowing sticks, ropes, potions while useful but you can do without

Keep digging and exploring. Try to find more caves to explore further to the left or the right of spawn.

Keep an eye out for spelunker potions. When used the spelunker potions highlight ores making them much easier to see.

alright so around stone-background area the ores are getting better, bunch of leads, silvers here and there, gemstones, 1-2 blocks of high rarity ores that i cant mine with default pickaxe

so yea need to go deeper, shouldve listen to her

About the pickaxe if you dont mind a bit of fishing you can go to ocean and fish for Reaver Shark. That thing can mine any prehardmode ore just like Molten Pickaxe and you can get it very soon. This saves you trouble since you dont have to build any other pickaxes untill hardmode.
