Does the Slime Invincbility box not work anymore?

i haven't played the game in over a year, and at that staged played it on mobile not pc. now on pc and wanted to make a slime invincbility box for a afk farm but it's not working, i have mods installed and using meteor armor, i'm using right now a campfire, a heart lantern, honey, regen potion, iron skin potion, well fed buff, but i still take damage from the bosses.

Was this a bug? if so then i guess it got patched
Or am i just doing something wrong?

for what i've seen is that you wont be able to do the bug with certain mods active

aahhh so afk farming bosses and event's like the pumpkin moon, and forst thingy, can't remember it's name now lol just woke up, won't be really possible anymore, bit of a bummer didn't know it was a bug, thought it's like skyrim's god mode feature

anyway thanks for the info and the help, guess i'll kill them manually then.

Its not patched in vanila.
I did a Duke Fishron with this glitch once to see if it works and ye it does.

Tho i heard its ineffective against ML or that it doesnt work if you use piercing weapons / minions.

Havent tested that tho.

You are using mods so most likely one of them patches or interferes with this glitch.

probbably, i've done some more testing it works every now and then but it's more of a roll of the dice and hope to survive lol

All i am able to find is the "Upcoming Features" thread on wiki.

That doesn't seem mention anything about slime saddle , invincibility or spikes.

The spikes was patched way back in 1.2 somewhere. Just common knowledge at this point. Only the early OG players remember that glitch. It did not last long at all.

Pff i could care less about it being patched. Its just a way more noisy version of Nurse trick and as equally boring.

Only used it once out of curiosity cause i saw someone mention it.

What i do hope is that they dont fix the autopause fishing glitch :<
