The placed bottle crafting station does not seem to work on PC

I'm trying craft potions with the placed bottle inside my town. However it doesn't seem to work with the right amount of resources. The placed bottle on the wiki page is not marked with any gaming platform, which must mean it has to be able to create the item I need on all gaming platforms, isn't it? PC version also allows to use the Alchemy Table, but is it really necessary to get that first to make my potions?

you just need to place a bottle on a table or workshop and stand near it, like any other crafting ctation

Well, that's imaginable because I placed it on a shelf just like how the wiki demonstrated it.

Try moving it onto your crafting table

You're welcome. quick tip if your not doing it already, try having all of your crafting stations in one place so you dont have to move constantly for recipies that need multiple stations

Ehm...maybe I misunderstand this one, but are there actually recipes for each an one of those items to craft preventing me to peek out all of them from Terraria wiki? I'm using wiki for that matter for the sake to make sure a specific item is worth to keep or I have to delete it or sell it.
