Really Weird Black Screen

So, when i launch the game, I see the loading screen, and then it fades to black. I can hear the music, hear the ticking of the menu options when I move my mouse around the screen, but it's black. I've reinstalled, done a full clean install, deleting all files, and it still doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem?

i have the problem w/ skyrim only it crashes after it goes tan
some tips
>Make shure that it is downloaded on the C drive
>verify the game files

i've got the same problem, i tried validating the files, reinstalling, and deleting the config, none worked, i dont know what to do...

Pretty sure it has to do with the game and your gpu. Mine does this too.

My fix? I minimize and maximize the game twice. I swear it sounds crazy but it works. Never on the first time, always on the 2nd time in a row.

nope, still not working, also i might add that it wasnt like this before, i dont know what i might have done to make that happen

that almost works, the screen flashes up for a few seconds before going black again :(

ok so for me, the black screen seems to have been caused by Discord's overlay (wich also black screened Castle Crashers for me), try turning it off maybe?
