Jungle Armor or Diamond Robe+Wiz Hat?

Should I grind up the jungle armor or use the Diamond Robe + the Wizard hat? I only have the Diamond robe so far, and I am in expert mode, is thaat makes a difference.

If you have a surplus of stars, then use the meteor armor. Diamond robes buff your mana by a lot from nothing at all; whereas meteor buffs damage and adds defense. You decide which is more valuable to you... After all, stars can be used for the cannon and wormies for fishing up OP items from crates. Not to mention the reaver shark in prep for hard mode.. you won't need any pickaxes from easy mode. Saves on ores.

edit: From no diamonds versus the potential of a meteor dropping, I'd say count on meteor. You say you already have the diamond robe though lol.. I'd say stick with the robe until you don't care about stars or feel you're taking too much damage.

Yeah, I got lucky and found a diamond gemstone cave literaly right under my base, got 40 diamond from that. I am using the full ninja set right now, and I don't have Tim's Hat, nor a way to really get that. Traveling Merchants aren't giving my any magic hats, and I am close to breaking a heart, haven't from one yet.

Any tips on keeping the enemies away while I am trying to get down to a heart?

A sword... A wand... Any weapon you can get your hands on? In all seriousness, anything that arcs 180 degrees and does a decent amount of damage. Hammers work here despite being slow. So do fast and decently powerful swords.
