Can't Find Mythril

I can't find Mythril and I even have a PDA, I can't seem to find it and I know my world was blessed with it. Can somebody help me?

I've searched near the underworld, in the cavern layer, nearly lost a platinum coin, and I still can't find Mythril!

I have heard that can spawn more ore if you break demon altars, so i can recommen u to try that

Yea just break them all and save 1 that's in a convenient location You will need one for crafting.

On a small map Mythril spawns below a depth of 600 feet (300 blocks).
On a medium map Mythril spawns below a depth of 1,700 feet (850 block).
On a large map Mythril spawns below a depth of 2,000 feet (1,000 blocks).
On the Mini-map Mythril ore shows up as a light blue, not green.

Mythril Ore is a Hardmode ore that appears in the world every two out of three Demon Altars or Crimson Altars (note that its equivalent, Orichalcum Ore, may spawn instead) that have been destroyed.

Go down to lava and thats where I find LOADS of titanium/mythril/orichalcum/adamantite. Also just break more altars!

You won't need one for crafting late game. There just wont be any good drops to farm for, not even for $$$$

I don't find much ore other than Hellstone in the udnerworld. I'm right above where the underworld soundtrack begins.

I use the wiki tons. The wiki still hasn't given me Cordinates for Mythril or a guide to find it.

please note that smashing alters will corrupt/ crimson your world extremely quickly because each smashed alter adds a new seed somewhere in the world, so smash alters with catuion. if youd like a safe way to get ores then you can make a new world and fish up crates in the ocean, and then open them in your hardmode world
