goblin tinkerer not spawning/ cant find SOLVED

alright so ive played terraria before, and i know how much of a pain he can be to find sometimes. but for ♥♥♥♥s sake where is this man? i could find him on a large world on console no problem but im on pc on a small world and this ♥♥♥♥er refuses to show up. ive searched the dungeon, ive killed two goblin invasions and now im just waiting for the tinkerer to show up so that i can get rocket boots and safely traverse hell. i have two houses available so that in case the party girl shows and takes his spot, but yet no luck. ive searched all over the underground sections, and still no luck. what is going on? im sure the calamity mod doesnt prevent him from not showing up, but at this rate im considering it an option.

okay. heres tips. buy a lifeform analyzer, stand around in a cave for like a minute, waiting for him to spawn. when you see it show up as bound goblin drink a hunter potion and look around. if the cave doesnt work then just explroe for a bit. mine something. mabey he might pop up on the radar then drink a hunter potion (he shows green) so... yeah.

i just use a hunter potion or life form ana then keep falling down the helevator shaft till he shows. takes like 5 mins.

Be like me, do other things then he just appears sometimes not until early hard mode, but you will eventually find him.

i found him already, and he was not in dungeon as i said.
