A hotdog is always tactical. A hotdog can be eaten raw or cold, and is always protected by a PLASTIC bag which you can boil it in from the juice alone.

Onyx Blaster is probably better, just because you can get it right at the start of hardmode, and by the time you can get the Tactical Shotgun, you can be using other guns/bows.

Yes, the onyx blaster is more like 1 concantrated shot mixed with other shotguns. But the downside it doesn't reload or use time isn't fast as the tactical shotgun. But the onyx blaster is still better in many other ways.

I agree. In all my travels, I have never seen a "Tactical ahotgun" added to the game.
