And the fact that you said "frequent breaks" in regards to firing the weapon just furthers my own point; it is not a viable option for constant DPS, whilst the Lunar Flare provides this and terrain penetration. Sure, the Last Prism is good for crowd control, but it's only slightly better than the Lunar Flare, at the cost of less overall dps, and massive drain on mana potion stock, which is a nuisance to keep refilling.
This doesn't dispute what I said though; during lengthy fights like the Moon Lord, or even the end waves of the Moons, you don't really have the luxury to not fire constantly, and thus the Last Prism is not the best option. Again, it's certainly not a BAD weapon, but it's not the BEST option for both all-around use and sustained DPS. If you like it, more power to you, but don't go around claiming that it's the be-all-end-all magic weapon, because it's quite clearly not.
the laster is good for like destroying celestial pillars but there is really no point to having both
