Is this Laser Machine Gun better than my Razorpine?
I've had the Razorpine for some time now and have recently got the Laser Machine Gun to drop. The Laser Machine Gun does significantly more damage per hit and seems to take less mana, but the Razorpine is slightly faster, deals slightly more knockback and doesn't have a charging phase.

Opinions? Should I stick with this Razorpine or switch to the Laser Machine Gun?

It's worse? Well Razorpine it is, I guess. Unless anyone else has any differing opinions?

I will keep the Laser Machine Gun, though, as I eventually wish to make a gallery displaying all (66, I think) magic weapons in the game.

If you can sustain it, the MachineGun is better. It's much like the Last Prism, except the Prism is horrible unless you have a perfect mana setup.

I enjoyed the Last Prism. With a Mana Flower and a surplus of Super Mana Potions it is really powerful.

Chugging mana potions severely cuts your damage output down to abysmal values, whereas with the Razorblade Typhoon, Laser Machinegun, Lunar Flare, Nebula Arcanum, etc, you can sustain the max damage while still spamming your magic. The Last Prism is weak unless you either have a super quick fight, or you have a very high-end mana sustenance machine.

Okay Razor pine = AoE Attack. If you wish to deal MASSIVE DPS to one Large target, Or A large Group of enemies Razor pine.

If you wish to kill each enemey in a few seconds, LaserMG

No, with Super Mana Potions, Mana cost reducing equipment and frequent breaks, Mana sickness will go away before you have to drink another potion.

Well, seeing as they are is 50% better than the Greater Mana Potions and available very early into Hardmode (looking at you, Super Healing Potions...), they're the obvious way to go :P

Exactly.
Also Super Healing potions Are one of the few potions Are one of the few I have only like 120 In total of.

While i have a Surplus of Super mana, I see no reason to not use Super mana, They're basically a direct upgrade.

The only annoying part is farming the Unicorn Horns, seeing as how uncommon they are. But hey, if I get to listen to the lovely Hallow music, I don't care :P
