Can corruption spread through icicles?

In an ice binome, to prevent corruptions should I dig trenches 3 blocks wide or 6 block wide?

I thought 3 block wide was sufficient since grass doesn't spawn in ice binome, but can corruption spread more than 3 block wide through icicles?

Three blocks is enough, but the Coruption/Crimson can spread through Ice Blocks, however, it will not spread through Snow Blocks.

Crimson ice = C
Ice = I
Snow = S
CSSI
Will it spread to the ice?

Yes, To stop it from spreading it needs to be: CSSSI.
