2ft = 1 block
Console versions DO say "meter" instead of "feet". There it's just the other way around; 1m = 2 blocks.
So that makes no sense. Though, for someone familiar with the metric system, 2 blocks = 1m should feel "natural", if you've worked with squared notebooks alot(like during school), where 2 squares on the notebook usually equal to 1cm.
