Aerialite not spawning in calamity.

So I heard this was because I didn't have the mod enabled when generating the world, so does this mean I have to create an entirely new world? I worked pretty hard on the world and hope I can just do something to spawn the modded ores.

You need to make a new world, with the mod enabled, in order to get Aerialite. I am not sure why, but that's what I believe, because when I make a world, with Calamity enabled, then I already see Aerialite ore underground, even though I did not kill Desert Scourge.

So will It be in the world I was progressing in or just the world I generated?

So if I make a new world with calamity on and I go back tot he world I was progressing on, if I beat desert scourge again will it spawn?

The thing is I need it in the world. I don't even see the slimes yet because you need to beat desert scourge.
(Which I have but the actual calamity ores never spawned

This thread was made back when the Calamity ores were generated on world creation rather than defeat of specific bosses, I haven't experienced any problems with ore generation myself.

I had such trouble with uelibloom ore, so i was sitting in jungle and farming slimes for 2 hours

bro what. you're missing out on a lot more than ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Aerialite. literally every world generation change and biome added by calamity will be missing. make a new world.
