Lunar flare or last prism?

Which is better? Last prism seems to have the highest DPS of all magic weapons (600K for me against some dummies) and is more likely to hit the target than the lunar flare.
But the lunar flare also seems like a very good weapon. Which one is better?

The Last Prism requires too much Mana and thus is only really useful for crowd control (worked wonders when I used it against the first few waves of the Moon Events), the Mana Sickness debuff being too much of a pain to deal with (50% damage reduction in no time). I never used Lunar Flare that much.

Last Prism is also really good for annihilating bosses.

(ik that potion sickness reduces damage, but unless your fighting a boss, you should have killed it ages ago.)

Last prism is great but mana sickness is a pain even when getting dmg nebula, also you will pretty much not keep with m1 pressed as it's easier to make use of the wide lasers to kill event enemies and stuff, lunar flare is more reliable but you will need to get used to the pattern and speed

To add to this, the lunar flare also has the ability to attack through blocks.

tbh for me i would go last prism just get the manaflower in the bottle and carry a bunch of mana potions and you have an infinite ray of DOOOOM

You are also talking in PvP sense, in which case, both weapons are incredibly cheap, as the Last Prism is often invisible to other players, and the Lunar Flare can attack through walls.

I agree with you there. Sky Fracture is easily one of my favourite magic weapons. I end up using it for quite some time once I get it.

Mana sickness isn't even an issue if you use the last prism with the celestial cuffs.

Lunar Flare is a cool spell and easier to use, but Last Prism is undeniably better. And when paired with all the right accessories, any drawbacks it has compared to the Lunar Flare are rendered obsolete.

Lunar Flare. Nebula Arcanum is better than Last Prism.
