No spider mod?

Hello! I'm a huge fan of Terraria for a couple of years now. It really got me in to gaming. But I have a huuuge phobia for spiders. It's getting better: I can handle some spiders now. But for some reason the spiders in Terraria still freak me out. I tried to play it a couple of days ago, but I was sweating and shaking like crazy because I was so scared to encounter a spider. There used to be a mod which replaced al spiders with blobs. The mod is so old and doesn't seem to work anymore. Does any one know a mod that actually works? A mod that replaces all the spiders, not only the ones in de spider biome, but also the jungle and blood crawlers. I would be soooo thankful! I really miss playing this game!

Well, you could choose Corruption to get rid of blood crawlers, go out of your way to avoid spider nests (rip hardmode summoner), but the Jungle spiders I don't think can be dealt with.

Edit: Nevermind, the issue may have a solution already, but I did find a mod that lets you take spider caves out of the world gen, and a lot of other things to....

Oh my God, you would literally be my hero if you could make something! And not just for me, but also for all those other people who hate those spiders in terraria.

But anything but spiders or insects will be fine. Just the most simple thing to make. I don't know how modding works but i dont want to make it to hard for you.

i can kinda understand how OP feels, not really arachnaphobia just the little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ always drop down in front of me so i go out of my way to kill any i find, also they're creepy little abominations.

I was wondering if you were able to do it. I searched for it on tmod browser, but I can't find it.

Use Tedit(Tool) or Worldedit(Tshock Plugin) and remove all spider backgrounds in your world. Then boom! No spiders, no need for mods!

That doesnt remove the spiders in the jungle

You can do what I did:
-install Cheat Sheet
-open the NPC browser
-find the spiders
-right-click them

If done correctly, the spiders will now have a red background. If so, they have been marked as banned and will die the instant they spawn. They won't drop items though.
