I can not get orichalc! Help

I play an expert, killed a wall of flesh, made a Cobalt drill. Has found orichalk-it is not extracted, in what the reason prompt please. On the storm it is written that the orichalk can be mined. A bug?

Can you take a screenshot of what you are trying to mine? Default key is F12, then when you close the game you will get a prompt to upload new screenshots.

You don't need to kill any boss to mine hardmode ores, apart from obviously to get the resources required to make stronger mining tools, e.g. all mechs for Chlorophyte. I think maybe you are trying to mine something else, maybe you confused Adamantite to be Orichalcum. Orichalcum has a distinct pink look while Adamantite is dark red.

EDIT: Lol sorry I posted this at the same time you uploaded the pic. Yes, what you are trying to mine is actually Adamantite.
