Making a world gets stuck on Generating Corruption Pits

This is an old thread, please refrain from "helping me", because I fixed it. However, if you are having this issue too, what I did was disabled Tremor mod, made the world, and re-enabled the mod and it worked fine!

Hello, I just started having this problem. I go to make a new Large Expert world, and it always gets stuck on "Generating Structures...Corruption Pits". I am using tmodloader and like 13 mods, but I know 100% they WORK TOGETHER. What is causing my game to freeze here? Is it making an expert world or what?

Maybe your game is getting.... corrupted...

My friend attempted to make a fresh Corruption World and got stuck there too. I made a Medium Normal Corrupted World and it worked fine, hung up slightly on Corrupting Pits and Scag. I then tried it again today and it hung up with the same settings the first time, i restarted the game and it was able to make the map. Just keep trying, it eventually works.

No. How mine worked, regardless of size, I disabled Calamity Mod and boom bada bing.

Do you just keep trying worlds or can you just wait for it to eventually go?

With mods that change the world gen, depending on your computer, it works or not, but it's more likely to work if you make smaller world sizes, if it gets stuck, wait about 10 mins.

Sup i'm having this same issue right now lmao, just because it's old doesn't mean it's fixed and it's much better to use an old thread than waste space with a new one regarding the same issue : )

Try using all mods off, then turn on mod by mod to see what are causing the problem.

the only mod for me that makes this error happen is tremor mod. sometimes other ones. either try a smaller world size or disable some mods then enable them again after, or wait like 10 mins
