How to get Terraria Creative Mode?

Hey guys. I was thinking, is there a Creative option/mod in Terraria, similiar to Minecraft's Creative Mode. So I looked it up and yes there is. There are mods how you can do that but I don't get any wiser from the tutorials I read and watched. It is pretty difficult as a not-computer-guy to just easily install that mod. From what I have seen you can only install the mod if you are deleting, renaming, copy-pasting etc, stuff to all kinds of folders. I don't want my Terraria (and my PC) to be screwed over completely. So I wanted to ask you guys: is there an easier way to get a Creative Mode option in Terraria? I just want to build stuff from all kind of blocks and bricks to see what is cool and what I can use in a real Survival World.

You can install tModLoader. Following the steps there is easy enough.

Copying and replacing can be reversed by verifying the game files/reinstalling the game, so you'll be fine.

I don't want to go to a server where I can get all achievements and items etc. I just want to select which block I want, place it in my inventory, and just build something.

Just put everything in the rar you downloaded into steamapps\common\Terraria.

It won't. That's a modified Terraria, that's all.

Does it also include the base game? If so. I do not want to download it because that feels like pirating a game or something...

Ah, it only adds to the original game. I don't think it works alone.

You cant go wrong in instaling tmodloader..... .If you get it wrong when you have read or watched instaling tutorial i dont think you should even consider modifying game.
