Ichor Sticker issue?

Is there a specific reason why Ichor Sticker won't spawn, like for example does it need to be PURE Crimson underground, because I'm playing on a medium world (for resource gathering purposes) and its mixed with a jungle, my other Crimson area is mixed with snow, and if go down to far, I get Hallow.

I've been playing for quite a few minutes, killed up 50 and more Herpalings, Jungle Spawns have happened (the giant fish Arapaima, Giant Tortoise), not one single Ichor Sticker nor even Floaty Gross.

Is there some condition I'm not meeting somehow? Or is it just INCREDIBLY rare.

I mean I managed to Spawn a Crimson Mimic (which I wasn't able to kill, unfortunately had to teleport back to base before I died), but not an Ichor Sticker, watch how while I wait for a response they actually start spawning LOL.

I think it spawns in underground crimson, and you might want to make a area for farming them if they dont spawn in jungle

Perhaps Jungle spawns override Crimson ones.
Try the underground Snow, I know for a fact that snow doesn't override crimson

That's problematic for me as my patch of Hallow is right next to it all, the crimson and the snow biome, with a little deeper is the Hallow, so I don't have much underground Crimson to work with. With Pixies spawning and stuff.

I feel like something has to be missing, some requisite has to be met outside of reaching Hardmode.

At the moment until I get supplies, even getting the Steampunker, or otherwise (to try an infect one of the deserts I have, to get Crimsonsand if I can't already), I'm trying the Crimson Jungle hybrid, even during a blood moon, and despite all the Crimson enemies;

Not one single Ichor Sticker, nor Floaty Gross, this is ridiculous, unless they changed it recently that Ichor Stickers are very incredibly rare spawns that drop 10-20 Ichor upon death, I just am not seeing how I can get the Ichor crafts that I would like to get if NOTHING is spawning for some unknown reason. Even if during the bloodmoon

I almost just want to create a large crimson world and beat the wall of flesh to see if that will be better than a medium world (hopefully I can get a purer large Crimson world).

At the moment my crimson hardmode world only ever gave me was the Godly Shadowflame Knife (there was a Goblin invasion, during the time I killed the wall of flesh), and Hardmode spawns occured, The Goblin Summoner appeared, first drop was straight up a Godly Shadowflame Knife.

So I'll keep trying, but there has to be something that I'm missing, because it just isn't spawning for me.

I might be a complete idiotic moron, there is a possibility I was never in underground crimson, I'm trying to do some testing, to see if that was my issue to begin with, if the guide I read is accurate.

How deep are you going? You need to be deep enough that the music switches from the surface crimson music to the underground crimson music. Otherwise, it's not deep enough. Typically the bottom of the caverns that spawn the crimson hearts are just deep enough, so you'll want to go deeper.

Otherwise, as far as a "hybrid" jungle/crimson biome, there is no such thing. Crimson destroys jungle. If you're getting jungle music, you are in a jungle biome. Crimson monsters might spawn nearby with crimsoned blocks, but since the floaty gross and the ichor sticker are specifically underground crimson, I doubt you'll get those to spawn if you're in an underground jungle biome.

By hybrid, I don't mean like when Hallow and Crimson/Corruption change the desert or create their own versions of instances "Tree/Stone"

By Hybrid, I mean part crimson part jungle, not an actual phyiscal hybridization, more like they're stacked to each other.

The official terraria wiki says that Underground Crimson is typically created by Hardmode, and unless I'm understanding the context says that it spawns at and below the cavern level (so I guess I need to be at cavern length or deeper not just "underground" which is where I was at).

Also based on the background, I've not even hit Underground Crimson (since the background appears to be zig zag dirt background, while the normal underground crimson looks scaly), if all else fails all just go deep enough with 200 crimstone blocks and create my own biome, which hopefully will spawn.

Reading what it said about the "at or below Cavern" level made me remember my normal corrupted playthrough, where I was at the underworld and corruptors spawned near by and the corruption was that far deep, and wondered maybe I need to go close to that deep.

But at the moment it looks like I haven't found what's considered the "Underground Crimson" unless I overlooked the background (near those hearts), but even so, it still didn't spawn anything, so I'm clearly wrong here about what the underground crimson is.

So by digging deep I don't run into Crimson, I'll just put 200 blocks and see if that'll work.

Yes, my artificial underground Crimson biome worked, I guess I don't know where my actual underground crimson biome appeared, but its not anywhere near my crimson biomes, because that's just considered the surface crimson.

But now Ichor Sticker's are spawning, I hate that it has to fight with the ice/snow biome (which for whatever reason is quite frequent underground in this world (probably a medium random seeding thing), but I at least can get Ichor now.

Glad you figured it out. For future reference, any normal UG Crimson (not ice or Jungle) should work, I've even gotten Ichor Stickers to spawn in Hell before when my stone Hellbridge got Crimson'd at the initial HM spread once.
