Is there a way to turn Snow Blocks into slush?

I recently found an Extractinator, and i've been looking for slush blocks, silt, etc. It's kinda hard to search for slush in caves without being killed. Is there a way to turn snow blocks into slush?

Nope, sorry, you'll just have to go get some silt or something.
Or, if you have a nightmare/deathbringer/molten pickaxe you can go the much more deadly way of collecting extractables, getting desert fossils in the underground desert, they spawn in very large quantities so you'll have a bit to to extract.
