Iron Fences - Are they Walls?
I've constructed a town with stone pillars along the walk way [Walls with blocks on top] and filled the gaps with fences. Yet the place didn't count as a room because it was missing a wall tile, despite eveything being sealed and walled off with fences and stone walls. The wiki says they count, but maybe it's just the metal fences themselves because of the seperating between lead and iron?

1.2.4:
Metal Fence split into Lead Fence and Iron Fence.
Boreal Wood Fence & Palm Wood Fence added.
Can now be used for NPC housing.
Iron and Lead Fences are no longer valid for housing.
Wooden fence types now properly let the sunlight through
