Necro for Ranger
Desert fossil (Dunno why you'd want to...) For Throwing.
Or Shadowscale/Crimson armour for Melee
-- Avoid Hellstone armour, it's just raw defense, and that's far from useful (compared to HP regen, or some boons) Also avoid it (completely) if on Expert.
Jungle/ancient colbalt can both be gotten in the jungle
Ancient Necro helm/Necro set is from the Dungeon.
Desert fossil is well, from the Desert (you need an extractinator to extract fossils however)
Shadowscale/Crimson is also obvious.
+1
And also one thing I do kinda dislike is it locks you into one class at the very end of the game (or forcing you to farm a needless amount of items) per each character.
I'd just prefer if we can roll a nice Ranger + Mage combo, and not have to "Off-perk" weapons or change our build up.
Jungle armour has 1 defense more that meteorite, gives 80 extra mana and 21% critical hit chance for magic damage and reduces mana costs by 16%.
Dunno if I need to explain, but use jungle if you have a winder variety of mage weapons, but stick with meteor if the Scape Gun is the best thing you have.
