[Modding] How do I create a weapon like the Daedalus Stormbow?

I already programmed the "foundation" of my Bow, but now i want my Arrows to fly down from the sky (like the Deadalus Stormbow). How do i do that?

Can't you check the code for the original Daedalus Stormbow and work from there?

I don't know much about modding at all, so I won't be of much help... Does tModLoader come with a decompiler?

One of my friends said he looked through the world generator file, so I am pretty sure there's such a tool available... Try to search for "Terraria Source Code" or something.

It seems it isn't really allowed to discuss the game's source code on their forums, so I suppose it isn't allowed here either. Disregard this, sorry about that.

There's probably mods with their own code open for study, though.

Also, you can simply go to the official forums and ask there, pretty sure there's loads of modders there.
