Logic games making smoke
So I am starting to look into making some advanced stuff with logic gates. First think I'm trying is a simple 2:1 mux. This requires 1 OR, 2 AND, and 1 NOT gate. Since there is no NOT gate available, I used a NAND gate and wired the inputs together and *theoretically* created a NOT gate.

Wired it all up and tried it out, but the final OR gate doesn't switch a torch properly, even though the gate is showing the proper state. The OR gate also, creates smoke(?) when I toggle the selector bit. As show here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1130370767

Any idea what is happening? I see no mention of this behavior in the wiki.

Yeah, I found that too as I was looking for the answer. That post did not provide a "fix" for me, as signal timing was not the issue. Adding a AND gate buffer (inputs tied together) fixed it. Or something like that, can't remember the specifics.
