will pre hardmode npcs spawn when i get to hardmode

i want all the prehard mode npces but i want to kill the wall of flesh can i still get thos npcs after enering hardmode

what if the npc hasent spawned in the world yet for example merchant if i dont have him than after hardmode can i get him still

you need to have a house for him and have 50 sliver to get him as well
