Calamity Mod Weapon Question
Another one, I'm sorry.

So, during a Solar Eclipse today, one of the enemies dropped a weapon called Yharim's Crystal. Looking at it, I worked out that it was an upgraded Last Prism. Well, it wasn't (at first). I tested it out and blew up my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ house.

Anyway, fast forward a few hours and I defeat the Dragon boss in the Jungle (i.e. Duke Fishron 2.0). The weapon then became the upgraded Last Prism I thought it would be. However, there is one caveat; this thing devours mana, so much so that I'm questioning it's viability.

I'm currently running Warrior with Ark of the Cosmos and Exoblade. Is this thing worth switching to Mage for?

Any recommendations? I like the Stardust Staff and the Phoenix Flame Barrage.

even though this thing devours your whole mana bar in less than a second, it still does like 2M DPS with mana sickness debuff, though it dosent work against worm bosses or bosses that shoot so many projectiles like DoG for example

so idk, your choice, i'd prefer staying melee cause its more fun

Farm for Briny Baron, that sword is god-tier.

I would explain how to farm legendary weapons but I don't really know, other than killing the respective boss over and over on expert.

It's duke fishron, pretty straightforward.

If you can get the sword before fighting duke fishron though, it's noticably slower because it swings faster after you kill him.

The legendary from Devourer of gods seems pretty good too, it acts similar to the Solar Eruption.

Great, thanks! I'll try and add that to my collection.

I actually got the Briny Baron at the beginning of a playthrough once, I was in the jungle and killed a small bee that spawned out of a tiny hive.

When you hit enemies with the swing it creates a whirlpool dealing constant damage in a big area, and the right click shoots out a literal mana-free razorblade typhoon.

Are they found in the Treasure Bag or do they drop directly from the boss?

AFAIK they drop directly with the Treasure Bag.

Okay thanks. I won't open the bags, then. Don't want to clutter my inventory :P
