Can't find Lost Girl / Nymph

My lifeform analyzer shows that "Lost Girl" is nearby, but as soon as I move a bit it disappears and I can't get it show up again.

Does the girl despawn? I've been trying for hours, I find "Lost Girl" somewhat easily (on the analyzer thing) but I can't actually move around to locate one before it disappears. :(

Consider using a hunter potion.

Battle potions and a water candle may help. Then use a hunter potion to find her.

As for the moving around, make some kind of platform that mobs spawn on all around you. That way all you have to do is look around a bit.

For me, when trying to find specific items dropped from enemies, I make a MASSIVE open square in that certain area. Go to the cavern layer, make a massive open square, like 200 blocks tall and wide. Once it's dug out, place a five block long platform right at the top for you stand on, place a water candle in the centre of that platform and wait. Use a Battle potion if you want. By doing that, every enemy that can spawn at cavern layer, will eventually spawn including Nymphs/Lost Girls.

I do this a lot with the dungeon as well, even better if the various wall types in the dungeon intersect with each other so I can have Paladins and all sorts there.

Well I managed to find a Nymph just by mining and walking around cavern layer accidentaly, thanks for the tips guys anyway.

Now I can't get Doctor Bones to spawn, after 10 nights (3 blood moons) in the jungle surface I'm becoming desperate :)

Literally the same thing. And plus blood moons increase spawn rate.
