Upgrade weapons and tools?

I'm not new to the game but i feel like i'm noob. I don't know how to upgrade them although i followed wikia please me....

All you have to do is mine some ore,get bars near furnace and make better tools.same with armour.Later in game you can get goblin NPC and change your weapons(and tools)modifiers.

I did, my max ore i have is gold ore and sometimes platinum, what crafting station should I use to upgrade

What do you exacly mean by "upgrade"You cant make tools much better.The only way for them to be stronger is to change them.

You can only change modifier like,instead of ruthless you can get deadly.And for the next pickaxe you can make nightmare one.You get if from the ore you get it from the boss.(eye of cthulu,brain of cthulu,eater of wordls).

Bud, if you've got Platinum/Gold, your next step is head to either the Corruption or Crimson (only one of them will be in your world) and use either bombs or Purification Powder to turn the blocks into stone around the glowing orbs/hearts. Mine to them and break them with a hammer, but be careful, as a boss will spawn after the 3rd one you break. Make sure to set up an arena of sorts before fighting the boss, then defeat it to get the materials needed for the next tier of equipment.

Well.., this game is so hard

Just keep at it, the only way you'll get better is to fight for it. Don't take the easy way out of "free items" servers, and just keep trying until you get it downpat.

If you run out of Orbs/Hearts, you can make an item that summons the boss.

If the boss is too hard, is recommend going to one of the altars in the biomes with 6 Lenses (The things that drop from Demon Eyes). Make a Suspicious Looking Eye, preferably an arena, and use it at night for a slightly easier boss. It drops the same ore that the other boss drops, just not the other thing. You could use it to get some better weapons before the other boss.
