Fiberglass Fishing Pole
I found a fiberglass fishing pole in the underground jungle. I was just wondering if it were a rare item because the name glows green.

yeah, its really good, cause most of the other fishing rods are hard to get or they are worse than that one

I will never unlock the angler achievements, especially that last one.

No, it is the best pre hardmode pole sold by a traveling merchant, and pretty much the best pole until you get a gold or hotline pole. https://terraria.gamepedia.com/Fishing

It's definitely worth it. Fishing is incredible in this game and every little bit of power helps.

It's a fairly uncommon find. Each item has a "Rarity" attached to it that changes the colour of it's name. Prefixes can lower or increase rarity of weapons and accessories. As you progress through the game you'll also progress through the "rarity" colours of equipment. It should be noted that the "rarity" is more like a tier guide.

The tiers start at Grey, which is only junk items from fishing and sometimes items like wooden broadswords with a negative modifier.

Then comes white, which is the main bulk of items in Terraria, as it includes building blocks and furniture. Low level gear is also here.

Then comes blue. Everything at blue tier and above will not be destroyed by lava. Blue tier is mostly early ore gear.

Green contains mostly midway pre-hardmode gear, most of it being looted from chests or dropped by enemies.

Orange is the end of pre-hardmode gear, mostly stuff from the underworld and the jungle. Hardmode crafting materials are also sometimes in orange tier.

Light red contains early hardmode ores, and also the hard to obtain pre-hardmode slime staff and golden net.

Pink tier items are pre-plantera hardmode gear, including items from mech-bosses and npcs.

Light purple is the same point in the game as pink, but is exclusively rare items or hard to get items like the Anhk Charm.

Lime tier is for Plantera and Golem drops, as well as some Frostmoon Items.

Yellow items are post-plantera pre-pillars gear, such as moon event gear, Betsy and Duke gear, etc.

Cyan is a small tier that contains some of the early celestial event items such as lunar fragments, as well as developer sets. Some Moonlord drops also fall into this category.

Red items are the end-game armours and weapons. Moonlord drops are mostly this tier.

Purple tier is only achievable with good reforges of cyan and red tier items as no item has this tier as it's base rarity.

There's also two more "unique" tiers:

Expert mode only items, despite having other tiers coded for them will always display their name as a rainbow tier.

There's also an Amber tier for quest items such as quest fish and strange plants.
Wow! Thank you
