OOA Tricks?

Hey guys im playing on an IP server and the server just got to hardmode (expert)

Im using meteor armor and the wizard hat. I heard that a mech boss has been killed so tier 2 for ooa has opened.

I wanna be able to defeat it solo. I have the waterbolt and laser rifle (from the wall of flesh)

what should I use?

im using..

shark tooth necklace

Magic cuffs

Mana flower

Sheild of Cthulhu

Sorcerer Emblem

Worm Scarf



ive seen yrimir do this with the water bolt and even less defense than me. are there any good tricks to do it easy?

ive heard of acuator and conveyor belt tricks but idk for sure if they work. help!

I don't know. I know that it's not going to help with protecting the crystal, though; Sure, you won't die, but the crystal's another story.

Before placing the crystal in the holder, put actuators directly below the stand, at least four layers should do, and wire them all up to a switch. After placing the crystal, simply press the switch twice, and the crystal should be swallowed whole by the ground, left untouchable to everything but the flying mobs!

Still lost, because Ogre is OP pls nerf. The OOA is just stupid in SP, being stupidly difficult with unbalanced as heck enemies, no apparent game logic until you really start screwing around with it, and to top it all off the loot is trash.

The OOA is stupidly broken. I never beat Tier II because by the time I had good enough weapons Golem is easier to kill than the T2 OOA on Expert SP and drops better loot.

Meteor armor will do peanuts and the waterbolt is useless in hardmode.

Think of T2 as Post-Plantera.

How to ez Daedelus Stormbow:
1. Go chop down a tree
2. Go mine some iron/lead, or go fishing for it which takes even less effort
3. Farm Underground Hallow enemies for souls and make a Key of Light
4. Put key in chest, fight and kill mimic
5. Repeat until you get a Stormbow
