Does anyone have a spare Chaingun?

Its clear from the other comments that chaingun is the fastest gun available. does anyone have a spare?

im attempting to take down a dungeon gaurdian, and since all weapons do 1 dammage against them, i need a weapon that fires the most bullets as its not quality im looking for, its quantity.

chain gun has a 4-frame firerate, so technically, it is.
but when killing the dungeon guardian, the S.D.M.G is the better choice, unless you have a ufo, then use chain gun

Any reason why the SDMG is a better choice despite the fact it fires almost half as fast?

There is no need to change the date. It is dropped during the Pumpkin (or was it Frost?) Moon event, and both events are year-round.

There is no need to change the date. It is dropped during the Pumpkin (or was it Frost?) Moon event, and both events are year-round.

No need to change your date, just Ectoplasm + Silk + Souls of Fright.

Prepare to get wrecked, though.

For the DG, yes, but for the Frost Moon you..... won't do so well.

Yes. The Frost and Pumpkins moons are best dealt with with weapons like the Last Prism, even more so on early waves.

a piranha (i think i spelled that right) gun would work as well, but it would take longer. At least you wouldn't have to focus on aiming! At least not as much.

Actually the Pirahna Gun will reset itself every... minute or so?

But that's still not much aiming to have to do.
