How Much damage does a counterweight do in terraria?

How much damage does a counterwheight do? Does it depend on the yoyo? Does each counterweight deal differnt damage? Plz help

I'm pretty sure all counterweights are identical, and it would only make sense if they scaled with the base yoyo's damage.

However, if you look at the picture on that page, you can see that the counterweight used does about as much damage as the yoyo used itself, and can crit as well. My best guess from that would be that their base damage is the same as a yoyo's base damage. Also, it is worth noting that all damage (with a few exceptions such as damage from Slime mount) dealt in the game is modified by 15%, so if a weapon has a base damage of 100, it would actually do anywhere between 85 to 115 damage. Of course, remember to factor defense and damage reduction in as well.
