Fishing Power

This is a simple question but, will your overall fishing power go over 100% and will this effect your loot chances? I use the Sitting Duck's Fishing pole (40%) and Master Bait (lol) (50%). Now if you can't to math, that equals 90%. Now if I were to add in other factors, such as raining and fishing potions (and the Angler's Armor) would my overall fishing power would most likely reach 100%. I'm just wondering if it would go over 100% and if it would increase my chances of better loot.

I think it does. I'm pretty new to fishing, but I don't think fishing power has anything to do with loot. I think it's more how often you'll get an item. Just always wear your best fishing equipment.

pretty sure the only thing fishing power matters for is catchink junk items
at 50%fishing power u stop cathcing junk items.look it up in the wiki

More power = more rare stuff that you can find. Im not too sure on the math and calculations, but Im pretty sure that you can catch everything.

I usually try to keep my fishing power around 110.
