Non-clouded worlds are hiding under My Documents / Games / Terraria (or it might be My Games - either way, it's around there).
Steam Cloud will occassionally corrupt itself, characters and worlds with it, which often causes worlds to vanish.
I opened steam, did a left click on the game, got the properties window. Under the updates tab, unchecked Enable Steam cloud synchronization for Terraria. When I logged out of the game, the one world showed up in the following drive:
User / (name) / mydocuments / My games / Terraria / World
As such, I always just manually backup and move my terraria files from computer to computer via a flash drive and the Documents/my games/Terraria folder.
Are you on a Mac or running Linux?
Scrub.
At least that wasn't a "hi thx
