Tips for finding beehives

I was preparing to fight skeletron, when i searched up a guide to see whats good against him. On their was the bee's knees. I guess you can see where this is going

I'm playing on a small world single player and i've found 4 bee hives very close to eachother

well if there's a honey pool there has to be a bee hive around it.

There isn't really a tip for finding beehives all I can say is that there is a guaranteed beehive in your jungle and also there are other weapons good against the WoF

Is it a normal mode WoF and are you doing classes?

I'm not fighting wof yet, im fighting skeletron, and i want the bee's knees because it can rip through skeletron with the hive pack (im in expert mode btw)

Look, just get a bunch of explosive and just blow stuff up.

The other option is get some jester arrows and look for bee hives hidden behind walls.

Skeletron isn't even that difficult, use something like Minishark.

Use some frost arrows and run around not letting it touch you, shouldn't be too bad. Frost arrows do great DoT, I even used that and a repeater to take down planetera
