Walking in slow motion?
Played a bit of Terraria yesterday, installed some mods and played with them without a problem for an hour or so. Today I started the game again and walking slowed down the game. Jumping didn't cause any problems though and jumping left and right didn't slow down the game neither, only walking did.

Anyone know what might be the problem here?

You might be having fps drops, while in terraria, open up the steam overlay, click settings, find the in-game tab, and enable the FPS Counter. 60 Fps is the maximum fps possible in Terraria, basically, if you are getting 60 Fps, your game will run smoothly, if it goes to, lets say, 30 Fps, you will notice the game runs in slow motion.

2 Ways you can fix this/avoid this

1) Turn on Frame Skip in the Terraria settings.
What this will do is skip certain frames of the game to make sure the game is running in the correct time, You will no longer have the game look like it is in slow motion, BUT, it will not be smooth.

2) Video settings
Turn down the quality of the game, it should make it run smoother.

Also, does your computer meet the requirements to play Terraria? You can find the requirements online somewhere.

Hope this helped

It's definitely not my PC and neither the video settings nor the frame skipping did anything. I went with the grandmaster of bugfixes and restarted my computer and now everything works again.

Still, thanks for the suggestions, I appreciate the help.
